Afghanistan
On 26th of October the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan was hit by a 7.5 magnitude earthquake. Despite the fact that the epicenter was near the city of Feyzabad in Afghanistan, the capital of province Badakhshan, there are more victims reported in Pakistan.
As of this morning the number of victims has reached 311, when 237 victims are in Pakistan and 74 in Afghanistan. The reason could be the fact that rescue teams from Afghanistan are having difficulty reaching some affected territories. Many roads are also not passable due to presence of Taliban gunmen.
The number of wounded people in Pakistan reached 1,200 and 300 in Afghanistan. Material damage could not be calculated yet.
