After three years of accompaniment, the KINA Cooperative network is now independent and all assets have been handed over to the cooperatives and local government.
From December 2010 – August 2013, Caritas CR (CCR) in Aceh worked to launch the KINA cooperative network of patchouli growers. All assets have been handed over to the cooperatives and local government and the cooperatives are now fully under the direction of the members and the boards.
CCR will remain in Aceh for the near future to accompany the cooperatives and assist them in finding international buyers and strengthening their administrative capacities.
