Caritas Czech Republic in cooperation with Moldovan HomeCare Association ensures long-term supporting of social, health care and home care services in Moldova. Day service centre for 650 clients from localities Horesti, Unteni, Taxobeni, Hrubna Noua, Vranesti and Lucaceni and Day service centre Estera in Chisinau for 800 clients provide diverse range of health and social services. Local workers help seniors, using these services, with personal hygiene, health care, but also with common housework including ironing or doing laundry, if seniors are not able to handle their households anymore. If it is necessary, social workers provide their services also in the clients’ homes.
