The region of Gagauzia is home to nearly 5 per cent of Moldova’s population, with an average of 34 years. Recent surveys have shown that people below age 35 are little involved in decision-making processes and are poorly informed about political issues.  That's why Caritas Czech Republic works with the project called YOUth is power, YOUth is future! to increase of awareness of European issues, civic engagement and self-involvement among Gagauzia young people aged 16 to 25 years.
