Mongolia, humanitarian aid after dzud in May 2008

Mongolia was hit by snowstorm of unprecedented intensity in the end of May 2008. Calamity caused death of many people and huge loss of livestock herds, the main livelihood of the Mongols. In cooperation with the local authority for emergency Caritas CR helped in the affected areas. For the funds released from the Crisis Fund Caritas food and toiletries were purchased and distributed.
