Since December 2014 Caritas Czech Republic supports a system of organic farming in the Philippines. During last year arose four farms and three organic gardens on the island of Samar, where farmers learn new processes of production. In March 2016 farms and gardens were handed over under the administration of local farmers long supported and trained by Caritas Czech Republic. On the occasion of handing over took place the celebration accompanied by a signed treaties with the Farmers Association of villages Osmenia, Panan Awan, Cogon, New San Augustin and Iba.
