In late June, Helena Kotková and Ondřej Suchánek from Caritas Czech Republic visited Burgos Integrated School on the island of Samar which in November 2013 was hit by typhoon Haiyan, locally referred to as Yolanda. The Caritas workers spent more than 40 hours with the children - talking on topics such as the similarities and dissimilarities of problems that afflict ordinary schoolchildren, whether they are Philippine or Czech.
