New cooperation between Caritas Czech Republic with the Ministry of Mongolia

On December 7^th, 2015, the Ministry of Environment, Green Development and Tourism of Mongolia announced they plan to establish new cooperation with the Caritas CR in the area of environmentally sustainable development.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed by Ts. Tsengel, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Mongolia, and Thibault Chapoy, the Caritas CR Head of Mission in Mongolia.

The agreement will ensure that specific measures will be taken. These measures are aimed at improving the regulatory environment in order to stimulate the development and employment of greener technologies. The measures should also motivate companies as well as individuals to partake in environment-friendly activities. Moreover, a promotion campaign targeted at the general public will be launched.

Caritas Czech Republic has been running the construction of their projects in Mongolia since 2012. These projects are primarily focused on introducing greener construction materials and techniques. The recently signed agreements to follows up on these activities.
