The delegation from Mongolia was formed by experts from the energy and construction sectors, for instance, by Mr. Tumurbaatar, who is a representative of the Mongolian Ministry of Environment and who also led the expedition. The delegate came to see the practice of Czech construction companies.
They all met and gathered in a rooftop lounge in Opletalova 29, together with several important representatives of the Czech Republic. The delegate included the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Nikol Žižková, the Director of the Research Center AdMaS, Zdeněk Dufek, and the executive secretary of the Czech-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce, Pavel Kordík,. After the opening speech by Evžen Diviš, the regional manager for Mongolia, Caucasus, and Balkan, there was an introduction of all the participants from both the Mongolian and Czech groups. Then the ambassador of Mongolia took the floor and thanked Caritas Czech Republic for their activities developed in Mongolia, which helped to promote organic and sustainable practices and materials in construction. Consequently, he expressed a wish that these activities would no longer be needed in the future. He believes Mongolia will replicate similar practices and will adopt them as a principle.
After a toast, the aforementioned Tumurbaatar Tsaagan summed up his experience from the study tour, during which the participants visited the Brno University of Technology, power plants Dětmarovice a Opatovice or Brown Coal Research Institute in Most.
