From November 2015, a new training module for Moldavian specialists in early childhood inclusive education has been updated. The former version of this module was designed for teachers involved in the programme “Education for everybody” or “Global partnership for education”.
The old module was focused only on kindergarten teachers and parents of children with special educational needs. The recent re-organisation of the Moldavian education system, however, urged the need for changing the module, since the materials should be accessible to all experts in the domain (that is to say not only to teachers and parents, but also to social workers and representatives of local public administration).
On January 25 and 26 in Kishinev, there was a workshop lead by Mgr. Pavla Baxová, Czech specialist of inclusive education. Participants of the workshop were meant to create the new final version of the module and divide it into different sections, with each section being specifically designed for given target group. Pavla Baxová cooperated with other experts, mainly with the members of a Czech organization for help to mothers and children in need (Woman and Child – Protection and Support; Femeia si Copilul – Protectie si Sprijin), under the National Centre for Psychological and Educational Support, specialists from the Ministry of Education, the Institute of Education, the National centre for early childhood education and family and representatives of other NGOs.
The final version of the module will be partly revised and examined by Mgr. Pavla Baxová and consequently approved by the Ministry of Education and the National Centre for Psychological and Educational Support. The document will be then given to this institution and Department of educational sciences. Thanks to the activities of the Caritas CR and its partner the organisation Woman and Child – Protection and Support, at least 1,500 people will undergo this training
Support for this project was provided by the Czech Development Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Czech Republic.
