Blood pressure meters and hearing aids for a better quality of life

The association „Homecare,“ a long-term partner of Caritas Czech Republic, distributed 72 blood pressure meters and 25 hearing aids among the clients of homecare service in the Moldovan capital of Chișinău.

This took place thanks to the Czech Embassy in Moldova which financially supported the project of Homecare Association. Thus the quality of life of the elderly people, who are the clients of the homecare centre in Chișinău, has improved. The ceremonial handing-over was preceded by special examination of the patients by cardiologists and hearing specialists.

Ceremony of distributionAt the ceremonial afternoon the Czech ambassador in Chișinău, Mr Jaromír Kvapil, was present as well as the Moldovan deputy Minister of Health, Mr Mihail Ciocanu, the Moldovan deputy Minister of Labour, Family and Social Protection, Mrs Ruxandra Glana and the director of Home Care association, Tamara Adasan.
