A Moldovan association called HomeCare is a long-term collaborator of Caritas CR. As one of six organizations, it has been nominated for the National Prize for the most active non-government organization providing health care in Moldova.

The World Health Organization office in Moldova, together with the Ministry of Health, the National Health Insurance Company and the Centre for Information and Communication in Health Care, announces the 2015 National Health Care Prize. Representatives of the above mentioned institutions have chosen a winner in the following categories: the best nurses’ team, the best rescue team, the most successful public health care activity, and the best health care organization management.

HomeCare has succeeded among 32 other organizations and was shortlisted among only six of them. Home Care Association has been providing homecare services in Moldova, in cooperation with Caritas CR, since 2010. Since 2013, the association has been active in the field of diabetes treatment in Kishinev and five other southern Moldovan areas.

Sadly, HomeCare did not win the main prize in the end. Nevertheless, being nominated for the prize is still a huge success. Caritas CR cordially congratulates its Moldovan partner on this achievement of recognition.
