An introductory seminar to a series of training sessions focused on inclusive education of very young children will take place in the Moldovan capital today. Pavel Trousil, the programme manager for Moldova, will conduct an opening speech at the event, followed by a speech by Kateřina Šilhánková from the Czech embassy.
1,000 people are expected to undergo the training in 2016 and 2017. Teachers from selected kindergartens, mentors working in kindergartens, teachers working in district services of psychological and education support, experts from district education authorities responsible for early childhood education, and representatives of local public administration will be among the participants.
Activities of Caritas CR aimed at the support of inclusion at Moldovan kindergartens should contribute to recognition of inclusive education’s key role in the education reform, which should allow for young children’s access to education without any kind of discrimination.
The project received funding from the Czech Development Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic within its Programme of International Development Cooperation.
