Caritas Czech Republic cooperates with local governmental institutions and non-governmental organisations which make efforts to improve living conditions of former Angolan refugees and their hosts in Mayukwayukwa in Zambia.
Caritas focuses on many things, including teaching business skills. Courses answer questions such as who can own a company, how to set up a business, how to maintain it and develop or who and what plays role in its business growth. The courses are attended by both youth and adults.
On 11th November a business fair took place for the first time in Shibanza. The exhibitors presented their business efforts, success and innovation in order to prove to the visitors and potential entrepreneurs that people can overcome their fear of implementing innovations. The goal of the Shibanga fair was to teach how to live in order to become a successful entrepreneur. The programme was accompanied by a traditional dance.
More photos from the fair can be found in a gallery.
