There are over half a million Syrian refugees who have fled the war to Jordan. Caritas Jordan has helped over 217,000 people, providing €20 million worth of aid including shelter, healthcare, education and counseling. Serioshka benefits from rehabilitation

With help from Caritas CR and Czech donors, a little Moldavan boy named Serioshka has a better life. Serioshka has cerebral palsy, and with it, pathological contraction of the muscles. Thanks to the financial contributions of Czech donors, he had the first of two surgeries in February 2013 followed by a second operation in October of that year. These were followed by rehabilitation.

Caritas CR, together with its partners, has been helping the victims of the conflict in Syria for over a year. Together with Caritas Jordan and non-profit institutions directly located in Syria, we have been able to house hundreds of families who have been forced from their homes and are now displaced within the country. Many have even fled to neighbouring states.
