Zambian gifted students of specialization Registered Midwifery

On January 31st, Caritas CR ceremonially gave to the students of Lewanika school textbooks, specialized books and teaching models of midwifery. Representatives of the provincial Ministry of Health, directors of obstetric and nursing school in Lewanika and representatives of the Provincial Health Authority and Lewanika General Hospital attended the ceremony, as well as the Caritas workers.

Seminars and meetings of active citizens who care about the fate of the town and country were included. Czechs help Syrian refugees in the district of Marjeyoun in South Lebanon

The people of Czech Republic (namely members of the Regional Catholic Charity Veselí upon Moravia and employees of Partners Financial Services from Moravia) have begun a humanitarian aid campaign. In collaboration with the Association of Lebanese AGHSAN Deirmimas and under the auspices of the Czech Embassy in Beirut, they hope to distribute funds to Syrian refugee women in southern Lebanon.

Pottery in Ethiopia

Since 2011, Caritas CR has been helping beekeepers and local potters in Ethiopa by increasing the possibilities for gaining an income for themselves and their families. Support for their activities is coming to an end however and in the future they will be forced to produce pottery entirely alone.
