We help where we are needed. We provide immediate humanitarian aid to people affected by war or natural disasters. In development cooperation, we help people get on their feet and earn a living. We focus on health and social care development, environmental protection and work on systemic change.

Development cooperation

Development cooperation aims to help people get back on their feet and get a source of livelihood. We are also working on systemic changes in healthcare, social services and environmental protection.

Caritas Czech Republic among the best rated European organizations

Providing urgent humanitarian aid to those in need has been one of the main pillars of our work abroad. Therefore, we are happy to announce that we have been among the first organizations certified by the EU agency ECHO to implement high-quality and efficient humanitarian projects in the years to come.

Three Kings help worldwide in 2016

Some of the funds from the Three Kings collection go to foreign projects, and in 2016, Caritas across the Czech Republic supported countries facing poverty, hunger and poor access to education or health care. The help went to the most endangered – children, seniors, handicapped people and homeless people.
