Do you want to see how it looks like at Caritas' mission? We have put together a short video series through which our colleagues will show you what their working day looks like. Let's continue with our second video from Mongolia - Bayanjargal Batbayar from the local team will take us on a field trip to our projects.
Protecting Mongolia's unique nature
Bayanjargal works as PR officer at our mission in Mongolia. Although we have offices in the capital Ulaanbaatar, we work on our projects all over the country, so Bayanjargal often travels to different regions of Mongolia for work. This time, she will take us on a field trip to the countryside in Bulgan province.
In Mongolia, we support the locals to cope with the excessive plastic waste that has literally flooded the country. Through local civil society organisations we promote waste recycling and pass on the experience from the Czech Republic. In the video below, you can see footage of the beautiful Mongolian countryside, as well as uncontrolled landfills through which animals wander.
In addition, we also work with youth in Mongolia and motivate young Mongolians to become actively involved in society.
