Mongolia

We have been operating in Mongolia since 2006. Our primary focus is environmental work, especially waste management, and actively supporting young people. However, we have also provided humanitarian aid to pastoralists affected by the harsh winter or helped in the fields of education, social services or health.

During 2025, our projects in Mongolia will be completed and the local branch will be closed.

Sustainable development

Waste treatment, especially plastics, is one of the significant problems facing Mongolia today. In 2020, we successfully completed a project that focused on recycling and recovering construction waste. We are currently working to promote plastic waste treatment, which floods Mongolia. Its illegal disposal is widespread not only among households but also companies.

Supporting youth and civil society

Together with our partner organisations, we are committed to developing Mongolian youth and civil society. In the framework of the project "All for YOUth, YOUth for all", we not only support the development of volunteering among young people but also help them with personal development and advise them on how to plan and build a career.
