We have been operating in Mongolia since 2006. Our primary focus is environmental work, especially waste management, and actively supporting young people. However, we have also provided humanitarian aid to pastoralists affected by the harsh winter or helped in the fields of education, social services or health.

During 2025, our projects in Mongolia will be completed and the local branch will be closed.

B. Baldangombo from Mongolia is starting a shared workshop. It gives young people an opportunity to earn a living

Mongolia is a country of young people, they make up more than a third of the local population. Unfortunately, they often face unemployment. Caritas Czech Republic, therefore, helps young Mongolians with their personal development and advises them on how to plan and build a career. That is why we supported B. Baldangombo and five other entrepreneurs who give young Mongolians a chance to earn living.

There are more than 104,000 people with disabilities living in Mongolia. Unfortunately, they face considerable challenges compared to the rest of the population. B.Chuluundolgor creates job opportunities for people with disabilities in rural and urban areas and also protects the environment after receiving a small support from our project funded by the European Union.
