The first projects through which Caritas Czech Republic assisted the population of Kosovo focused on courses in sign language, English, and computer skills, organised at a social centre for the blind and deaf-mute. In 2013, Caritas Czech Republic returned to the country with a project to support employment in the northern region, including improving non-formal and lifelong education for local residents, primarily the long-term unemployed, as well as schoolchildren and high school students. Other activities focused on the inclusion of children with disabilities and those from socially excluded communities.
