Emergency shelter for families who have lost their homes

Drinking water and hygiene supplies

Medical equipment and first aid

Food for the most vulnerable households

Support for children, the elderly, and other especially vulnerable people

Assistance through local Caritas partners

Caritas Czech Republic is coordinating assistance through the international network Caritas Internationalis, of which we are a member. Our partner is Caritas Venezuela, whichoperates directly in the affected areas and has the best understanding of the needs of local communities.

Thanks to this cooperation, aid is delivered quickly to where it is needed most.

The earthquake in Venezuela has caused enormous loss of life as well as extensive damage to property and infrastructure. It has further strained a country that was already operating atthe limits of its capacity before the disaster. Our assistance is therefore absolutely essential. Thanks to our partners, we know it will reach those who need it most right now.

Venezuela was facing a humanitarian crisis even before the earthquake

Venezuela has long been one of the countries with the most serious humanitarian situation in Latin America. Millions of people are struggling with poverty, limited access to healthcare, and shortages of food and drinking water. The earthquake has struck a population that was already highly vulnerable before the disaster.

That is why rapid humanitarian aid is crucial. Your donation will help people through the first days after the disaster.
