Life on a mission during the Covid-19 pandemic: What is it like in Moldova?

Right now many European countries are lifting most of the measures introduced to fight against the spread of covid-19 and Moldova is no exception. Public places are slowly opening up and the vaccination is under way. Tackling inequalities through movie making for visually impaired people in Georgia

Even though the contest Labyrint 2030 which focused on innovation in development cooperation ended, the five best teams are still working on their ideas. At the moment they are trying to find ways how to start their projects and help people in Georgia, Mongolia, and Zambia. One of them is Pavel Ruzyak, filmmaker and keen youth worker, who joined Labyrinth 2030 with a project about movie workshops for the visually impaired in Georgia. He has already visited the country, attended a thematic conference, and spoke with Caritas' country office there.

In 2021, Caritas Czech Republic celebrates six years its country office in Georgia

The year 2021 Caritas Czech Republic (CCR) marks six years since the registration of its branch in Georgia. In 2015, the local representation of CCR was officially registered as “Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia”. Since that time, Czech Caritas has implemented about twenty development projects and improved the lives of thousands, focusing in particular on people with disabilities, children with autism, and people living in mountainous regions.
