A hotel and a future following Nepal quake

The earthquake that devastated communities in central Nepal on April 25, 2016, not only turned Kumari Gurgung’s home in Hansapur to rubble, but destroyed her business too. “I had a hotel with 22 beds. It was large and beautiful,” she says. “When the earthquake happened, it fully collapsed. My small granddaughter was trapped, and we couldn’t get to her until my son came to dig her out.” Read more on caritas.org.
