Sarah Butgereit is an undergraduate student in International Communication. She recently completed a four-and-a-half-month internship with the communications team in the humanitarian aid and development cooperation department at Caritas Czech Republic. Sarah helped the team by writing articles, organising a PR event for a festival or assisting with administrative tasks. Melissa Vong, a master's student in International Relations, joined the communications team in the humanitarian aid and development cooperation department of Caritas Czech Republic for three months. Nino Paatashvili started a child development centre from her own home. Today, her centre supports more than 300 children in Georgia

For Autism Awareness Month in April, we interviewed Nino Paatashvili, the director of the Child Development Center in Telavi. The centre in a small town in Georgia has been supporting the development of children since it was established in 2000. Caritas Czech Republic is closely cooperating with the Georgian government to develop state services for children and advocate for children's services that are not established in the region, including services for children with autism.
