The Gaza Strip is facing a catastrophic humanitarian situation
. In a closed area with nowhere to flee and nowhere to hide, basic needs including drinking water, food, medicine and electricity are running out. The escalation of the conflict is hitting civilians hardest. They urgently need immediate and safe access to basic humanitarian assistance, including health care. Caritas Jerusalem has long been involved in providing this assistance. Proceeds from the collection will support Caritas Jerusalem in providing essential medical care and humanitarian aid in Gaza.

Why donate now

  • Despite the war, around 2 million people still live in Gaza
  • 1.9 million people have been displaced due to the attacks
  • Every fifth child in Gaza suffers from severe malnutrition
  • 92% of residential buildings are damaged or destroyed
  • Most of the healthcare infrastructure is also destroyed
  • Gaza is a sealed-off area with no way out for civilians

In Gaza, suffering is everywhere but so is resilience. Through Caritas Czech Republic, we help people reclaim their dignity, one step at a time. Locals now recognize Czechia not just by name, but by the healing it brings. Your support means hope in the darkest of days.
