My family now has food all year round, says Mr Mapulanga from Zambia who adopted conservation farming

Mr Morgan Mapulanga, 72, is a lead farmer in Mulundu agriculture camp in Kaoma, Zambia. Thanks to our training, he has adopted conservation farming and is now practising an environmentally friendly mode of agriculture.

Mongolia is a country of young people, they make up more than a third of the local population. Unfortunately, they often face unemployment. Caritas Czech Republic, therefore, helps young Mongolians with their personal development and advises them on how to plan and build a career. That is why we supported B. Baldangombo and five other entrepreneurs who give young Mongolians a chance to earn living.

A former pharmacy in Grigoriopol, Moldova, became a warm and welcoming medical-social centre

According to the latest statistics, since 1991, 1.5 million of Moldova's population of about 4 million have emigrated. Moldova still continue to lose 45,000 citizens per year, most of them being economically active young people who is seeking stability and opportunities to build their future. As a result, people dependent of others care, most of them affected by poverty, are left alone, with no access to health and social care.

She suffers from a chronic disease and requires regular check-ups and consultations, which take time and costs a lot of money spent on travelling. Our telemedicine initiative could save Aunt Maria both time and money and help her access the quality health care she needs.

Meet Sophie Kabamba Mukeny (45 married and mother of 7 children) and Elizabeth Kapinga (32, single), Congolese refugees living in Mayukwayukwa refugee settlement. Muyunda Masiye originally comes from Mongu but got to Mayukwayukwa after taking up the farm in the area after his father. Muyunda, a 52-year-old Zambian, lives in the area with his wife and 7 children. He was supported by Caritas in the past and now is one of the lead farmers in the settlement.

Noe Kartsivadze was identified with autism spectrum disorder at the age of one and a half years. After taking the child to several kindergartens, his parents did not hope to find a suitable developmental environment for him. Shortly, they learned about special group established in Zugdidi within CzechAid-funded project with the aim to provide quality services to the children with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and immediately contacted them. Noe has been attending special classes for eight months now, and thanks to the efforts of the specially trained teachers by Caritas Czech Republic, his condition has significantly improved.

Although Asma Bbakir lives in a country that has been torn by civil war for over 11 years, she has not given up on her childhood dreams. Thanks to an educational course from Caritas Czech Republic, the student of the College of Economics and Management has opened her own business - a small café that serves mainly as a quiet place for students or intellectuals to learn.
